Our Story

Weekend Rider is a created by Harmeet Gabha who started riding in 2017 leisurely on the weekends and during holidays but quickly realised that there was a gap in this space on the internet.

There are many forums available where you can join meetups and ride with other riders but not really a dedicated resource that will showcase and map out specific routes that you can select and be off riding.

So in December 2017, Weekend Rider was created to provide a resource of ready to go mapped out rides that you can select and be off riding.

I idea was to provide a resource that is easy to then transfer onto the smartphone so you have all the navigation provided with ease to enrich the riders experience. Simply click on the google map link on each ride via your smartphone and your map will load in Google Maps ready to take you on your weekend adventure.
